These microchannels stimulate the skin’s natural repair process and support the production of collagen and elastin. The treatment is often described as an evolution of traditional microneedling because it uses a controlled stamping technique rather than dragging or rolling across the skin.
The Procell device creates precise microchannels in the skin, which triggers a natural healing response. This encourages cellular renewal and supports the production of collagen and elastin.
A bioengineered serum containing growth factors and cytokines is applied during the treatment. The microchannels help the serum absorb into the skin, where its active ingredients support skin repair, hydration, and regeneration.
Traditional microneedling devices are often dragged or rolled across the skin. Procell uses a vertical stamping technique with precision-engineered, surgical-grade steel filaments.

Safety & Aftercare
Procell Microchanneling is designed to be suitable for a broad range of Fitzpatrick skin types when performed correctly by a trained practitioner.
A consultation is still essential, particularly if you have a history of pigmentation, keloid scarring, active inflammation, or a compromised skin barrier. Your practitioner will assess your skin and confirm whether the treatment is appropriate for you.
Treatment may not be suitable if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have uncontrolled diabetes
- Have active Herpes Simplex in the treatment area
- Have very dry, compromised, or sensitised skin
- Have an active inflammatory skin condition, including eczema, psoriasis, infection, rash, or dermatitis
- Have another condition or are taking medication that may affect healing
Always discuss your medical history, skincare products, and previous treatments during your consultation.
Most people describe the treatment as mild discomfort, often rated around 2 or 3 out of 10.
The 0.25mm treatment depth generally does not require numbing cream. Some people may prefer numbing cream for longer treatment depths, depending on their comfort level.
Numbing cream is not used for hair regrowth treatments.
The skin’s response varies. You may notice:
- Little or no visible reaction
- A pink or red flush
- Mild tightness
- Pinpoint marks or bleeding at deeper treatment depths
These responses can be normal following treatment. A stronger visible reaction does not necessarily indicate a better result.
