SHR/IPL Permanent Hair Removal

Introducing Super Hair Removal Technology (SHR) IPL Lasers – a revolutionary new method for permanent hair removal that is virtually pain & side effect free. In comparison to other slightly dated laser and IPL methods, SHR provides faster, safer and pain-free hair reduction treatments for clients.

SHR is a revolutionary approach.  Rather than bombarding your skin with high amounts of energy (Joules), SHR fires multiple shots but at low joules.  In doing so it gently heats the hair follicle to the heat needed and the most you will feel is warmth and a tingling sensation, some clients compare it to a a warm massage.  SHR also utilises In-Motion technology, whwere the hand piece is alwasy in motion on the skin.

SHR is suitable for all skin types, even tanners, and all hair types including white.  Please note that it does usually take more treatments for white hair due to the lack of pigment in the hair shaft.  This is acheivable due to having RF (Radiofrequency) built into the treatment head which boosts the effectiveness of the treatment.

Absolutely painless, this is acheived by the SHR technology and In-Motion techniques, to give painless treatment.

To fully treat the area, you may require anywhere between 6-10 treatments inititally at 4 week intervals.  A four week regime is important to maintain so that the SHR treatments get the hair at its four week re-growth.  Near the end of treatments, 6-8 week intervals will be needed, then a maintenance treatment after 3-6 months then annually until there is not more hair growth left.

You can shave as much as you like however, you cannot wax or use depilatory creams as these methods interfere with the IPL process and could affect your treatment.  Please shave the night prior to your first treatment as the hair needs to be at the surface of the skin for the treatment.
